Laura Estela Huerta was born in Tecate, Baja California Norte, Mexico in 1992.

“Curiosity and exploration are the cornerstones of every project and idea I undertake. Observing and analyzing people's experiences not only enriches my understanding of the individual but also opens me up to the ideologies and passions of others.The prospect of learning in any and every form truly captivates me. I thrive on the endless possibilities that come from melding different perspectives, backgrounds, and skill sets into something truly transformative”

He uses terracotta clay from the city of Tecate as raw material, which has given rise to a distinctive characterization in his work.

Laura Estela grew up in a creative and experimental environment due to the influence of her father, an architect and artist, as well as her mother who is a teacher and writer. This early education sparked his interest in materiality. Today he continues to explore material creativity and human experience, constantly searching for a connection between the two.
